On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly clear light straw yellow, with a small head and not much lacing.
This is weirdly fruity on the nose - almost strawberry like, with grassy hops and sweet malt.
This is somewhat sloppily brewed. It’s quite overly sweet and fruity for the style. It’s just so weirdly strawberry forward, and it’s just not crisp enough for the style.
This is light bodied, without that snap in each sip that I want from the style. It’s still fairly drinkable.
Other Half is much better at IPAs and stouts. This isn’t great.

16 oz can Saaz/Tettnanger canned 1/17/19. Poured into Calusa snifter.
Crystal gold with a fluffy head of 2 fingers. Very on point.
I get aromas of fruity stripes gum and hay, slight froot loops, apple, and dry chow mein.
Whatever these guys do with their hops works. Hop character is right out front and unique, even in a style where hop character is often one-dimensional. Some fruity apple flavors, lemon rind, hay, grassy malt, slight bubble gum, citrus, and finally some pine water/bread.
Feel is crisp, not real clean though. Good amount of starch on the finish. Within spec.
Overall another impressive beer from Other Half. Definitely not as good as their IPAs but even in this Pilsner with all the hop character, this shows me their procedure with hops is what really makes their beers shine.
