Cloudy yellow. Big, white head. Tropical fruits, melon, malt, and lactose are in the aroma. Sweet start with moderate, hoppy bitterness all the way. Well-hidden alcohol.

Poured from a can (7th anniversary re-brew, canned 28Jan2021)
L: pours a totally opaque and slightly creamy but dull yellow orange with a very dense and thick white head. Leaves some very chunky lacing as the head fades
S: that classic overripe and dank fruit-forward nose from OH with a decent amount of abv heat coming in close behind. Get a tropical mix of mango/papaya/pineapple that mostly hits all at once, quite full overall. There’s some TIPA sweetness here as well, cuts the abv heat a bit and builds as the beer warms. Also some citrusy notes of orange, grapefruit playing a supporting role to the rest of the nose
T: follows the nose fairly well, solid tropical flavor up front to start with more of a creamy sweetness to open than I got from the aroma. It’s a bit of a muddled tropical note, a combination of again pineapple/papaya/mango, with some citrusy bitterness (grapefruit) that’s more upfront here than it was on the nose. There’s a bitterness that builds somewhat, enjoy it but the aftertaste is a bit off. Impressively there’s minimal abv on the swallow, unlike the nose
F: medium+ body, medium carbonation, leaves a slightly drying astringent taste in my mouth in a negative way but the feel is fairly creamy and smooth up until then
O: a pretty TIPA that’s mostly confusing to be honest. Nothing bad at all about the flavor, but nothing groundbreaking at the same time. That said, it’s incredibly easy to drink and return to for another sip - again, confusing which is roughly what I remember from the original release/first re-brew

This is damn near close to 6.0 in my book. The taste and mouthfeel is exactly what I'm looking for in a triple IPA. Smooth with a clean sweetness and low bitterness. Overall, very balanced and I will always be ISO more. :D

On tap at Other Half Finger Lakes in Bloomfield, NY.
This smells like pineapple, mango, pine, marijuana, and oats.
I don't usually like Triple IPAs all that much, but the Other Hallf anniversary IPAs always tend to taste great to me. It's got a candied sweet pineapple/mango/etc hop character, with a wonderful oat creaminess, and a very slight bitterness.
There's no booze to this one at all, with a really good drinkability for the style.
These are basically the only good triple IPAs out there, for the most part.
