While I'm not the biggest fan of Medusa or have had a lot of beers with it being the primary/only hop, I gave this a go because I love Other Half and the label was one that I wanted to add to my collection. Sure, that may seem superficial but this wasn't a bad beer as it was indeed, worthy of the "daydream" moniker when all was said and done...

This had a typical Other Half pour to it, as the liquid was golden, hazy, and nicely radiant without there being a ton of haze in it. Canned on 2/19/19 with "BLUE DREAM" written underneath it, this held up well over time as there wasn't any sediment to be seen in the liquid. Pineapple, earthy funk, moldy cheese, and a bit of dank hops were in the nose as the taste was funky, old, and heavy with plenty of ripe tropical fruit and guava that was past it's prime. Soft on the palate, the flavors were quite heavy as there wasn't a lot of carbonation to keep this fresh. Combined with a basic malt, the end result was a beer that did the job but didn't break any new ground at the same time.

This had enough booze to it, as that only added to this brew's overall heft. I thought it was fine to drink but given Other Half's lofty standards, this didn't quite measure up to them. I suppose that Medusa lovers would be wise to seek it out but otherwise, this would be one that I'd pass over better offerings!

I happen to really dig this one... Typical NEIPA tangy stuff - juice-like in appearance and tangy fruitiness... This one has that "green tang" I associate with a bunch of Trillium beers, but in an overall more softly fruited body... Suggestions of pineapple, guava, and light orange are featured... Soft but lively, with a bit of tingle on the tongue... 2/19/19 canning...

Drank one of these from 16 oz can as the Norovirus invaded my house. Not a bad double from OH but definitely nothing to be estatic about. Glad I didn’t have to wait in line for it.

Nice light foam build, no sediment, hazy orange. Fresh pine, citrus, light malts. I get a moldy off-taste on this, which reminds me of an old Heady Topper. It's not the worst thing. Hoping this will change over the next few weeks.
