This latest iteration builds on our previous Snowbirds and is jammed with macaroon cut coconut, a special toasted coconut, marcona almonds, cacao nibs, Mudhouse Coffee Roasters' Colombian coffee, cinnamon and Tahitian vanilla.

This 2021 could have been a train wreck with all those adjuncts, but it is a harmonious winner.
Poured cellar temp to a Glencairn, it’s a viscous, midnight black brew that flashes a dark burnt sienna color head. Some light floaties on top, most likely from the various coconut. Nose is surprisingly elusive. Practically nothing until ten minutes in, when the hints of the adjuncts tease out.
The flavor is excellent! The cinnamon is not heavy handed at all, barely noticeable until the end flickers. The bourbon is crisp with a fair amount of heat to cut through the sweetness. It’s another sipper that requires a slow progress to evolve the flavors. At first, the flavors never dominate per se, but they literally tasted in waves…a nutty smooth almond, followed by toasty coconut, enveloped by the vanilla, cleaned with a cinnamon finish. I think I might end up not trading one of the Snowbird 5 Banana Cream pie variants considering how well played the cinnamon is.

Super sweet stout. Much bourbon.
Super thick. Super sweet.
I get the bourbon and some almond, but no banana or coconut.

Burnt black with a thin mocha ring leaving some legs on the glass.
Sweet heat runs through a thickly viscous body delivering a dense almond cake nose with mild coconut accenting the palate. Chocolate Whoppers are accented by vanilla and, this is weird, a slightly spicy cinnamon-like feel, but without the flavor. It's very delectably round with a nice roast before finishing semi-sticky.
