Picked this up a while ago at Other Half as I loved the other Mosaic Dream beers. This one was along those lines but not any better in particular as it was still relatively one-dimensional. Sure, it was smooth and didn't last in my pint glass for very long but the "wow" factor was just never really there...
Canned on 3/21/19, this poured a relatively hazy gold with not a lot of head topping it off. The lacing was sparse with a thin ring near the top with lots of scattered splotches below that. Lots of melon, deep orange, and exotic floral notes in the subdued nose as the taste had some more tropical fruit, deep sweetness, and a nice slickness to it. Very earthy in nature, the feel on the palate which was at odds with how smooth and slick it went down. I didn't have a problem with it as much as it just a bit of getting used to!
Hard to taste the booze in this and the carbonation was even less as a bit more would have been nice to keep this livelier. The Mosaic *is* here but not in the way you'd expect as the basic, bready malt and earthiness overtook it just a bit. Not a bad beer but not as good as Other Half's usual fare, although I'm glad that they made an experimental version of this!

L - 2-finger dense bright white head atop a dirty-yellow body.
S - pineapple, melon, cotton candy, herb.
T - lots of pineapple, sweet orange, honeydew melon, cotton candy. Smooth middle. Low bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body and carb.
O - melon candies. I dig it, but the original is better.
