Loral? Floral? I have no idea what this hop is but just the mention of it on the label drew me in as it was (as far as I knew) the first beer I've ever had that featured this hop among it's billing. The presence of Mosaic ensured that I'd have an idea of what to expect but this was intriguing enough to hold my attention throughout my session.
Nice, dank peach hue to this pour as it looked like an Other Half beer while being just a bit different at the same time. Not much head topped this off and the lacing was nonexistent except for the thin ring near the top of my pint glass. Tons of deep and earthy floral notes in the nose as there was some kaffir lime, juicy vegetables, and ripe tropical fruit in the taste as this was familiar and exotic at the same time, while having some Idaho 7 in the taste and a clean, minty aftertaste on my palate to accompany the lingering slickness and resin.
Hard to pick out the booze in this as this went down so easily for something with this much alcohol in it. Canned on 3/21/19, this was a fun beer that left me wanting more, and wanting more beers with Loral in it. For being new to me, this ended up being something that I wanted to have again, just for another go-around...

There's no brewery I've had more beers from than Other Half, and I do like just about everything they make, but I'm also getting a bit fatigued by all the east coast/NE-style IPAs...
Essentially opaque golden orange in a tulip, with a few fingers of white foam on top and ample lace sheeting down the glass... Floral, herbal, and citrus notes take the fore on the nose, followed by more of the same on the sip... Mild orange, clean lime, something peppery and earthy on the finish... Medium-light feel, mildly sweet, moderately bitter, just a bit of tingle in an otherwise smooth body...
Solid, as usual, but thinking the Loral hops make it more compelling than it would have been otherwise...

L - 2-finger dense yellowish head atop an opaque yellow body.
S - floral, herb, grapefruit.
T - lots of floral, matched equally by grapefruit. Vegetal middle. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body and carb.
O - not a big fan of Loral hops. Floral loral, so I suppose that makes sense.

Earthy musk, orange+clove. Lemony and floral bouquet uncorks a dark red grape flavor akin to burgundy currants, plums, blood oranges, and cherries; and, the soft touches of oak/pine and white pepper on the palate amplifies the sweet tropical nose of mango. Racing acidity abuts the med-full, oat-fed body.
