Ha! Who doesn't love a label like this that's silly and relevant to what this beer tastes like? Yeah, I took a while to get around to this but it was well worth the wait as this was quite juicy, lively, and easy to drink. Yes, this was somewhat dank but the presence of Sabro and Kohatu hops gave this an exotic feel that held my attention to the last sip!
Canned on 4/1/19 with "MOTION OF THE NOTION" written underneath that, this held up well as there wasn't any visible sediment in the liquid upon pouring it out. The hue to this was a hazy, muted, peach that was just a bit lighter around the edges than in the middle. Plenty of that fruit's juicy rind and flesh could be discerned in the taste along with deep blueberry, broccoli dankness, and a funky sense of feet. The taste was just as vegetal, turbid, and earthy as this was quite heavy for being full of deep fruits and vegetables. Some heavy pineapple, deep papaya, and a hint of white chocolate sweetness rounded things out as this beer was full but conflicting at the same time. Was it an Imperial IPA, a New England IPA, a regular IPA, or a Fruit/Vegetable beer? The end result was something else that was a bit awkward while drawing me in at the same time.
Enough booze was in here but it was drowned out by the hops, vegetable soup-feel, and underlying presence of dank weed,. Much like many people's prom nights, this was something that didn't quite feel right but was almost a rite of passage for those looking to live life and mature. No beer I've had was like this but I can honestly say that I was better for having this, even if the experience wasn't quite what I had hoped for...
