Typical hazy one pulpy Other Half offering. It smells very vegetative, earthy and grassy blended into the hoppy nose. I've never experienced these Nelson Sauvin hops but they are clearly pungent. The flavor saves this ale as it mitigates some of those nose notes and amps up the fruit, chewy, meaty flavor profile. Pleasant aftertaste.

L - pours a pale, greyish yellow haze. Thick, deep haze. Half head, half beer. It's floofy and sticky-looking, but dissipates quickly, as is tradition with OH beers.
S - piney, oniony, and resinous. Sticky, overripe olives and tangy grape must. A touch of saltiness.
T - less potent than the nose might suggest. Still getting peppery zestiness of lime, grapefruit, and a fuckton of kalamata olives drenched in olive oil. Mild berry fruitiness and a vague nuttiness. Caramelized onions and fresh, herbal dankness on the finish. One last gasping breath of dry, lip-tingling bitterness.
F - full and well-rounded for a "small" beer. Oh, I see it's still 6.5%? Hardly small at all! Great feel, low carb levels, and medium-full chonkiness.
O - pretty big for a small beer. Features fleshed-out flavors full of musty grape and salty twang. Exotic and intriguing.

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like grape skin, mango, grassy hops, spicy hops, and grapefruit.
This is a really good expression of Nelson, and it's also not a complete juice bomb, which I can appreciate it. There's an earthy/spicy/almost chive-like bitterness on the end, with grape/mango/grapefruit up front. It tastes super crisp and clean.
This is light bodied, and super drinkable, with a very crisp and dry finish.
This is very good, basically as expected.

Canned 4/15; poured 4/22. Poured a beautiful plump head that quickly dissipated. Good not great lacing. Attractive but a bit muddy vs hazy light gold-yellow. Nice nose of straw and fresh cut hay. DDH Nelson bitterness surrounded tangerine like citrus. Some straw and biscuit. Very fresh and more complex than I would have thought. Loved the body. Smooth and just a touch of creaminess. Overall a nice refreshing take on Nelson hopped beers. OH touches like the DDH ; creaminess and flavor complexity in a standard issue
