I'm not terribly familiar with the Medusa hop as this beer obviously featured it to a large extent. Any of the "All _____ Everything" beers from Other Half have been quality brews and this was no exception as it was soft, uniformly enjoyable, and relatively easy to drink. I didn't think it was deserving of it's lofty rating on here but it was a fine brew that was worthy of a late night during these troubled times!

Golden, muted, and somewhat bright, this didn't pour much differently than a lot of beers from Other Half that I've had in the past. Not a lot of head topped it off and most of the lacing that remained was concentrated in a few thick rings near the top of my pint glass. Tons of murky grass, deep sweetness, skunkiness, and some urine in the nose as the taste was just as heavy and heavy-handed. Lots of apricot and deep tropical fruit too as this was certainly tasty and easy to drink while not being a smooth sipper at the same time.

This was on par with their other offerings when it came to the amount of booze in it and the malt was very basic and doughy in the aftertaste, as the end result was as full beer that helped to soften it a bit. A bit more carbonation would have been nice as this was somewhat slick in the aftertaste and a bit reminiscent of a Wild Ale in the aftertaste. Canned on 4/24/19 with "LOOSIES!" written underneath it, this was fun to have once I adjusted to it!

L - 1.5 finger creamy white head atop a murky orange body.

S - herb, grass, orange candy.

T - sweet to start. Orange and lemon candy. Followed by dank, grass, dirt, anise? Medicinal finish, with alcohol creeping in. Low bitterness. Moderate-low sweetness. Moderate-low booziness.

F - medium-full body with average carb.

O - definitely different. Never tasted anise from hops before, but its prominent here. Not sure what to make of it.

Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking dark murky orange color with a small cap of a white foamy head. Swiftly sliding off, there is some messy .
The aroma had some guava/apricot/citrusy blend rolling into some grassy to woody hops. Light biscuit malt.
The flavor moderately leaned into some sweetness but luckily streamed into a modest blend with the bitter side, somewhat citrusy and grassy hops. Light aftertaste of guava and citrus.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Nice low carbonation as expected. ABV felt appropriate. Finish was semi-smooth with a light crispness and apricot skin.
Overall, Other Half is always a treat for me to have. Damn glad one of my buddies shared this with me.
