Props to the person below who said this looked like "rendered fat", as that's what this beer appeared to be, to me. Yes, this was a beast and pulled no punches as I could tell as soon as I emptied the can into my pint glass. Thankfully, this is an Other Half beer so it's brewed right but the booze sneaked up on me as I was attempting to warm myself up to this!

This "rendered fat" had a moderate head but left a nice, thick ring of lacing near the top of my pint glass as it bled down to the splotches below. Dank hops, deep melon, citrus cream, grass, and tangerine were all in the nose as the taste was as soft, complex, and turbid as everything else led me to believe. Hints of dry wheat, lively feet, yeast, and booze were in the nose as this was potent stuff on the palate. Very strong going down as the burn was quite apparent with some lively lime and white chalky cheese coming into the fray as this fully warmed up.

A bit more carbonation would have been great to take the edge off but as it was, there was a lot going on here and somehow, it all worked together in the end. The sweet and creamy feel were just enough to take the edge off but in the end, this was a Triple beer that fit the part in every way. If you like Other Half's loftier brews and other iterations of Space Diamonds, you'll enjoy this as well. Canned on 5/7/19 with "MOMO-2" written underneath that, this was a quality brew that deserved the time it took to appreciate it. In this case, bigger was certainly better!

This is a big one and it lets you know it. Yeah, this is like standing next to Wilt Chamberlain or Shaq Diesel. You take one look up those redwoods and are like, “Damn! Yous a big one!”

This definitly is not a John Stockton or Mugsy Boggs beer. It’s a triple and again, you know it first sip. It’s lush, and tropical, and beautiful...but there definitely is a little heat from the 10.5%. Although to be honest, I’m ok with that. It’s not like a frat boy chugging fireball. It’s a smooth, somewhat delicate heat that lets you know it’s there, but it doesn’t slap you on the ass.

Yep!

CAN
Milky; herb oil, ganga, onion, rose petals + pineapple nose; passionfruit + papaya, grapefruit, a thread of white sugar, more rose oil, lime, white peaches, sauteed onions, then shifts pepper; hot + silky.

Big pineapple chunks! All the tropical + smoothness - and on some tastes it’s just that + it’s great. But on other tastings there are signs of being all too much: too boozy, some savoury notes, and sits kinda heavy + sweet. Curious to try regular strength Space Diamonds, which I suspect is better. I often find Galaxy too lush anyway, but at this intensity it’s just a bit hard to get through.
