Once again, this was a beer that I bought at Other Half and took a while to get around to. I don't remember a Part 1 coming out but thankfully, this was the first of it's kind! Strong in potency, there was enough heft on the palate that this wasn't just a beer full of alcohol as I fully enjoyed it from the get-go!
Quite a murky and turbid look to this as the deep apricot hue let very little light through it. Not a lot of head topped it off and the lacing that remained was mostly in the form of a thick ring near the top of my pint glass, with a bunch of scattered dots below. Tons of deep tropical fruit, booze, dank blueberry, and citrus zest in the nose as the flavor packed quite a punch. Candied stone and citrus fruit sweetness really emerged as this warmed up with a lot of resin and zest to found out the mouthfeel. Medicinal in it's aftertaste, this felt a bit like fermented cough syrup as there was a thick and slick coating on my teeth and palate for a while after finishing this off.
Strong in every way, the fruit flavors took a lot of the edge off of what could have been an even heftier beer. Canned on 5/10/19 with "HOP DEEP #LFG" written underneath that, this was worth a go once as it was put too much Imperial into this style. Not for everyone and certainly not for the faint of heart!

Tropical hoppy boozy nose on this one. Taste follows okay, but morphs into a boozy bitter swallow that starts to feel heavy and almost a little to syrupy.

Pours a hazed golden orange with a finger plus of off white head.
Smells of orange, some berries, a bit of dankness.
Taste follows with the orange, pineapple and blueberry.
Medium to full body, good carb levels. Alcohol is not as well hidden in this one as it is with most OH beers I've had.
Overall a solid offering from OH but not their best work.

Poured into a hotel glass. A hazy but not turbid bright yellow-gold with a medium white head. Aroma was big orange zest, blueberry, some tropical fruit, and more orange. Taste was heavy orange but also with some herbal, resin. Sweet, likely from the 10% ABV. Full-bodied. A bit hot on the finish, but enjoyable.
