16 oz. can. Hazy orange. Smells of orange, acidic fruit. Tastes of orange, some white grape juice, light grain and tingly acidic flavors. Medium light body. Low carbonation. I guess I can see creamy as a descriptor, but not really. Muted hop flavors. Not great.

12/08/23 dated tall can.

Typical look to the OHNEIPA pour. Hazed, frothy cap, leaving loads of sheeting and super fine lacing.

Bright and pungent earthy, minty, fruity hop sniff.

Super flavorful brew with all of the pungent nose notes now covering the palate. Mighty fine creation that luxuriously flows through the mouth in the smoothest of fashions.

Just more great or dare I say it, world class beer from the wizards at OHBC

Pours a hazy medium yellow color, good foamy head. Aroma is Citrusy - lots of lemon, light touch of dankness. Flavor is very different - citrus, herbal, floral, very light dankness. It’s good, but I think I might steer away from this hop varietal.

From the can it pours a hazy orange color. Despite the haze, carbonation is visible. The head is very large, frothy and foamy and retains for a long time.

The nose opens with creamy malts and citrus fruit, including candied oranges, tangerine and lime. Aromas of tropical fruit follow, including notes of pineapple, mango and papaya. On the backend there is a significant amount of grass and dank herbs.

The hops impart juicy and fruity flavors amidst a blanket of creamy and smooth oats. Yet, it is not too sweet as there is a subtle dryness to the palate. Medium bodied with a gentle carbonation that aids the sublimely fluffy mouthfeel. Notes of grapefruit, lime, pineapple, peach, dry cracker, grass, and gentle pine. The finish is smooth with bright fruit flavors an an easy going easy going and gentle bitterness.

Smooth, tasty and utterly crushable. Nothing sort of delightful.

From a 16oz can, dated 07/10/20. Served in a tulip.

Pours a murky, opaque orange-gold with a scant finger of soft, creamy suds. Retention is pretty much just OK but leaves a thick curtain of tattered lacing.

Aroma is clean, herbal, leafy. The more I sniff at it, the more what smelled like macerated green leaves turns into strawberry-lime. Smells terrific.

Taste is unexpectedly zingy, tart and bitter, reminiscent at first of lemon-lime seltzer. Mango, pineapple and papaya develop, but that green leafy bitterness persists and lingers long after the sip.

Feel is soft, creamy and smooth, medium bodied but feels even lighter due to the abundant prickly carbonation.

Overall, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every one of the OH oat creams I’ve been lucky enough to get my hands on and this one is no exception. The flavour profile was a bit of a mixed bag for me with some muddling and conflicts, where I’d be smelling one thing while tasting another but, all in all, the good outweighed the otherwise.

16 oz can into a Teku glass.

Pours an opaque yellow-gold color with a finger of sudsy white head. The head leaves a few random spots of lacing as it settles into a thin sheet.

The aroma brings a ton of lemon-lime, with a touch of grapefruit. Rather grainy and earthy on the back.

The flavor has lots of lemon and lime zest, as well as some grapefruit, pineapple, and apricot. Grainy, with some sweet lactose notes and an earthy, vegetal finish. Interesting.

The feel is medium bodied with low carbonation. Very soft and exceptionally creamy and smooth.

Overall, this is definitely a good IPA, but I don't think the hop profile worked out exactly how the brewers planned it. I think they were going for a lemon meringue pie thing but it didn't quite work out. It's more acidic than anything else. Still, it's a nice beer overall.
