Idaho 7 gets the daydream treatment with oats and lactose. Big creamy pineapple.

This was yet another beer that I picked up at Other Half and took a while to get around to. I'm not the biggest fan of Idaho 7 but this was a decent take on the style that was soft and showcased the hop nicely without a lot of complexity or additional flavors.
Standard, golden hue to this beer with a bit of amber in the middle as this was fairly bright and translucent. The head was nice and the lacing left behind. The lacing left behind was quite extensive and layered all the way down the back of my pint glass. Lots of Hawaiian Punch, star and jack fruit, and a light metallic and tropical tinge. The taste was the same way as this was dank, a bit exotic, juicy, and full from the oats. Couldn't detect the lactose as much since it melded well with the Idaho 7, although they were complementary and not similar to each other. The body was decent and the carbonation was light, as I wish it was a bit more prevalent.
Enough booze was in here but I never tasted it as I only felt it once I finished this beer off. Soft as the other DDH beers from Other Half, this left a bit to be desired but was enjoyable and showcased something I'm seeing more and more of these days. The yellow, cloudy label was appropriate for this brew and the impression it left on me...
