Love my Berliner Weisse beers and this one was just as fun and accessible as the others that Other Half has released relatively recently. It was straightforward, full of fruit, and easy to drink although the sweetness and berry notes could have been toned down a bit. I did enjoy it and almost found it to be a juicy break in the middle of heavier offerings tonight!
This had a wondrous deep cherry hue to it with some hints of plum as just a bit of light seeped through around the edges. A pink and frothy raspberry head topped it off as it was quite thick and foamy as it took a while to settle. No lacing was left behind as this was quite thin in consistency. Loads of plum, cherry, tartness, juice, and lactose sweetness in the nose as the taste was like a jell-o ice fruit and cream pops from yesteryear. Slick and dark at the same time, the lactose kept this from being too heavy as there was quite a bit of dark, thick sediment at the bottom of the liquid.
Much of that had to do with this beer's age, as it had a canning date of 6/6/19 with nothing written above or below it. The body was moderately full and the carbonation was present but could have been a bit more lively. This was lovely and for the beer nerd like me, something fun that was still worth taking seriously. Glad I was able to review this on here!

Can: Poured a cloudy-hazy heavy red color ale with a medium size dark pink foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of heavy cherry and plums notes with some tart notes and lactose notes. Taste is also a mix of heavy cherry and plums notes with some tart notes and some lactose. Body is pretty full for style with good carbonation. Easy drinking with some huge fruity notes.
