Once again, this was a beer that I picked up at Other Half and took a while to get around to. Love the King Kong reference with the label and like the other broccoli beers from them, this was smooth, a bit vegetal, and relatively easy to drink. For some reason, this didn't resonate that well with me although it held up well as there wasn't anything visible in the liquid or at the bottom when I finished it off...
As was the case with so many Other Half beers, the pour to this was golden, muted, and uniform throughout. Enough head topped this off as the foam lingered through much of my time with this as a lot of it settled on the side of my pint glass. That lacing was spotty, deep, and quite extensive. Of course, there was broccoli in the nose along with tropical fruits, bright citrus, and vegetable dankness. Lots of minestrone was in the aftertaste along with some deep tangerine cream as this was subtly sweet and spicy once the last sip went down.
Not a lot of alcohol in this as the bitterness and burn was at a minimum, with even less carbonation to boot. There was a light, resinous residue that stayed on my palate for a long time after I finished this as this beer held up well over time. Nothing was written on the bottom and this was as fresh as could be, even though it's feel wasn't quite fresh by nature. Not a bad beer to kick back with!

Canned 6/19/19 (11 days ago)
L - 2-finger dense, offwhite head atop a dirty yellow body.
S - dank, earthy citrus.
T - follows the nose. Rather dank to start, followed by grapefruit. Somewhat earthy middle. Noticeable alcohol on the finish. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. Moderate-low booziness.
F - medium-full, creamy body with average carb.
O - ddh broc is a better brew, but this is solid too.
