Pours a cloudy, white-tinted orange with close to two fingers of sudsy, off-white head. Good retention and beautiful webbed lacing.
Light citrus, floral notes and cake batter in the nose.
An excellent dull, citrus pith bitterness combines with creamy, doughy orange candy and white pepper in the taste.
Thick, creamy feeling with good carbonation.
This has a lot less “pop” than many world-class NEIPAs, but the dull bitterness; floral, spicy elements; and creamy thickness work with the refined orange citrus to make it a winner.

L - 1.5 finger fluffy white head atop a milky yellow body.
S - black pepper, spicy, grapefruit, honey.
T - follows the nose. Citrus fruit met with spicy hops. Low bitterness. Moderate-low sweetness. Low booziness.
F - creamy body with appropriate carb.
O - Riwaka’s a spicy one, if this beer is any indication.
