Brewed with lactose, blackberries and raspberries. Then conditioned on more fruit before packaging.

Cloudy purple color. Pink head that quickly dissipates. Amazing aroma of berries and lactose sugar. Taste is sour-sweet and slightly astringent, with raspberry notes dominating. Tasty.

Yeah, I love Other Half and yeah, the other beers in this series were decent but this one almost seemed like fermented juice more than anything else. It certainly wasn't a drain pour and it wasn't a letdown but it was just a bit too fruity and heavy for me to rate any higher on here.
As to be expected, this had a dark berry hue to it somewhere between red grape and plum, with a pretty uniform look to it. Some light raspberry head topped this off but that settled quickly and there was hardly any lacing left behind, aside from a few wavy hints of rings. Enough blackberry and raspberry was in this along with deep, blueberry and an earthiness that felt like a fruit patch come to life. More juice and a bit of rustic fruit patch was in the taste as the tartness and tang was kept to a minimum. Some sweetness and light cream kept this carefree as the aftertaste was like jam that I'd put on Sunday morning's toast.
There was a bit too much booze here but not enough to ruin this beer. It warmed me up a bit and lingered on my breath once I finished this off but it didn't add to the overall heft and potency of this beer. Canned on 6/27/19 with "DRIVEBY MMMFRUITING" written below it, this was sweet and lively enough to hold my attention throughout. More bubbles and less booze would have made this truer to stylistic form but as it was, this was a decent offering from Other Half that was nearly guaranteed to be accessible to everyone.

Pours a deep iridescent red color with a nice foamy rose head that lingers. Huge fruity aroma: strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry. Flavor is very berry: lots of blackberry and raspberry. Very delicious. Carbonation is appropriate. Overall a great fruited Berliner Weiss. My only criticism is the 7% abv. Would be better at 5% ish. Would buy again.
