Pours dark orange. Mild head and lacing. Cloudy and shady throughout. Tangy notes of orange and pineapple, sweet and piney and bitter and malty at the same time. Medium bodied, big and, strong, mouth watering, and boozy. Very good.

Dirty gold and cloudy. Minor head that leaves very little lacing in the form of infrequent spots.

Compared to some Other Half’s IPAs, the smell is a milder hop bitterness. But compared to others, this is still hop heavy.

The beer is bitter but continues the mildness. Low, barely perceptible alcohol. Decent body with a lower carbonation level. There’s a touch of sweetness. Long, bitter aftertaste.

After having over 400 beers from their Brooklyn location, this was the first Other Half offering that was brewed up in Rochester. Didn't know what to expect from with so much hops and booze in it but not surprisingly, this was a smooth sipper that was just as enjoyable as nearly everything else that I've had from these guys. It just took a little while longer to get through this!

This had a nice, milky hue to it as it was softly gold and on par with Other Half's IPA's. Not a lot of head topped it off and most of the lacing was in the form of a thin ring near the top of my pint glass. Lots of orange, tangerine, cream, weed, dank pineapple, and melon in the muted nose as the taste was just as sweet, dank and varied. Lots going on here with some lime tang, ripe peach and nectarine, and light yeast in the taste rounding out the flavor and drawing me in to my next sip. Incredibly easy to enjoy given how much booze was in this, the malt was basic and the carbonation was light and just enough to keep this fresh while allowing the flavors to linger.

Canned on 12/3/19, this held up well over the last four months as there was any sediment in the liquid or at the bottom of the pint glass when I finished this off. Normally, I wouldn't want this many hops in one beer but somehow, they've pulled it off as this was full, full-flavored, and quite green and outdoorsy in the back as this felt dank and raw on the palate once the liquid went down. If you want a beer that touches all the bases and has a subtle kick to it, reach for this. It's another winner from Other Half with a nice depth to it!

Pours a milky, completely opaque, yellow color with a well retained fluffy inch and a half white head that left rings of lacing all the way down the glass. Smells like a liquid fruit cup with a hint of pine. Tastes of orange, tangerine, sweet pineapple, melon, peach, mango, grapes and a hint of pine. 10% ABV incredibly well hidden. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, creamy mouth feel, minimal bitterness.

absolutely delicious again in this style from other half, seems like thats just about all they do anymore. unless they are bringing up beer from nyc, this was brewed in their new rochester location, where my buddy picked it up, and where i think what might be garbage plates on the can came from. its a darn sturdy one, although not really in terms of body, but actually in terms of the alcohol, which i have noticed in the past with other really strong ones from these guys. i never get any booziness in the doubles, but the ones north of 10% abv i usually do. the hops here in this cloudy lemonade looking brew are awesome though, and i can pick out the cashmere right away when i taste it, more of a fruit salad in the taste, but somewhat specific and identifiable in the flavor, and it has the intensity of the cryo hop thing, although i dont know that any of that is used. i have to suspect it, as this doesnt have a whole lot of intense bite to it, even though the hop profile is awesome. if they have something figured out, please share it with all the breweries who cant get this done yet, which is most of them! the flavors here are great, canned pineapple, peach candy, ripe nectarine, fresh orange, that herbal lime leaf thing i sometimes get from galaxy, and a big new zealand white wine finish, its just brilliant, and curiously at this strength, its wrapped in a whole bunch of sugar, its just the alcohol there with the hops at the end. a little bitterness, a touch of green, peach juice, and soft melon. its got some weedy resin to it, pre smoke, and an almost crystalline aspect as well. decent carbonation, fine grain support, but all of this is so inconsequential, its the hops that make this so awesome. stoked to have been able to enjoy this with friends and family, its a gem!
