Collaboration with Parish Brewing Co.

Our buddies from Louisiana trekked up to BK to brew this follow up to Ghost Diamonds, our earlier mash up of Ghost in the Machine and Space Diamonds.. Space Ghost follows with heavy doses of Galaxy balanced with Mosaic, Motueka and Nelson Sauvin.

A - Opaque dark pineapple color with dense, soapy lacing.

S - Citrus, papaya, some spiciness, passionfruit, and peach.

T - Some citrus, papaya, passionfruit, peach, a little bit of spicy fruit rind, and ends on the sweeter side with low pine bitterness buried underneath.

M - Soft, chewy, and coats the mouth in a way that makes the palate feel like cotton.

O - Very solid.

Can dated 9/24/24 into pint glss. Pours a murky honey-gold with a thin off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is juicy citrus, pineapple, and a bit of hops bitterness. Mouthfeel is thick, creamy, and hefty. Finish starts as bright citrus, progressing thru danknesss and ending up slightly sweet. Excellent!

Excellent Triple IPA! Taste follows nose with juicy tropical flavors. No alcohol burn, only flavor.
I am a huge fan of Parish and Other Half IPAs and their collaboration hit this out of the park!

Bought this beer at Other Half a while ago, as the date on the bottom of the can read 8/27/19. Both of the beers that influenced this were quite heavy and this turned out to be that way as well. Unfortunately, it wasn't necessarily better than the sum of it's "parts" but it was fine to drink and would certainly please a fan of either of those!

The pour to this was typical for a beer of this sort - hazy, muted tropical fruit, and somewhat bright. Enough head topped this off as the lacing left behind was quite extensive and nice. Thick and bubbly near the top, it got thinner and spotty in the middle with some deep soapiness near the bottom along the back side of my pint glass. Dank weed, earthiness, white grape, and melon rind were all over the nose as the taste was just as deep and turbid. Tons of overt booze only added to this beer's heft and strength as it was not a smooth sipper although it was easy to drink and enjoy. Dry, outdoorsy, and like wet dew, this was a dank beer that wasn't afraid of holding back!

Not a lot of carbonation as the booze and flavors held their own throughout my time with this. A feel of oats gave this body as it was moderately slick and worthy of a southern swamp after a heavy rainstorm. An interesting brew that wasn't up my alley but was enjoyable and worthy of a slow night with a lot on my mind and no other outlets on hand...
