Reddish almost purple color

Has the smell more sweeter than a sour

Has a berry sweet taste, again sweeter then sour. As someone said prior does have a lactose taste to it but in so it is a good tasting beer

This one pours a very murky and hazy purple color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

There's just a massive amount of lactose and cheap ice cream aroma on then ose, with a touch of very sweet blackberry, and no acidity or sourness.

This obviously sounded like a fun idea, but it wasn't completely executed. There's just way too much lactose and ice cream flavors here, it just feels and taste kind of cheap and sweet. A boosted acidity could have certainly helped - the fruit additions just add a melted fruit smoothie sweetness. I know it's not artificial, but it definitely feels that way, unfortunately. This is just too muddled and messy to truly work.

This is thick and creamy, with a lower carbonation level, and not a ton of drinkability.

Other Half is definitely a cool brewery, with a lot of good beers - but sometimes they get into hyperbolic territory like this. It feels like a parody of what the craft scene has become these days - but I'm guessing they made this seriously. And I'm sure a lot of people will like it, which I guess is the problem/reason they made it.

I rated the taste a 4 mostly because, this beer didn't taste at all sour maybe a bit tart but, not sour. Very well made beer and tastes great almost like juice however, this was advertised as a sour. Everything else about this beer I enjoyed.
