Fresh like a crisp Benjamin. We hopped this Imperial IPA with big doses of Citra and Galaxy plus some El Dorado and Enigma. Plenty of passionfruit, peach, lychee and a hit of candied red berries.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a medium white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones and green hoppy notes with light spicy notes. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones notes, some green hoppy notes with light spicy kick. Body is full and creamy for style with good carbonation. Interesting double NEIPA with nice green features without being overly sweet.

Pours opaque orange color with a 2 finger thick foamy white head that faded very slowly and left excellent lacing. Smells and tastes of orange peel, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, apricot, candied sugar, faint caramel, bready notes and floral spices. The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth, with mild carbonation and a little ABV burn. A very tasty brew.

If I was alive (which I am), and I made something cool (like this beer), I wouldn’t name it lettuce. You know, like, people shot a rocket to the moon, do you think that they called that sucker Corn Cob? No, sir. No, sir at all.
And it’s like that, because this beer has me thinking - maybe Other Half makes so many (too many) beers, that things have become a bit boring to them. Like, this beer isn’t our best, but we still make it, so Lettuce it is. Yeah, maybe you guys can call your next one cardboard.
By no means is Raul trying to hate. To the main man, Other Half slays the game. And I really like this beer…
Damn.
Raul is in a moment…
Maybe Lettuce is legit. Maybe trying to be artistic on every level is what may be the problem. Like, not every beer has to be an insipid James Franco thought. Should I embrace Lettuce? Should I embrace…?
All said, the beer is ok, and its has a name - which means that I can categorize it and go on about it.
Raul… Oh, baby, Raul.
