Despite being “retired”, this beer is fresh, canned on 3/24/26; outstanding hazy DIPA that exhibits a massive tropical nose and flavor

From a 16oz can, dated 08/11/21. Served in a spiegelau-style IPA glass.
Pours a hazy but thin appearing, dull orange-gold with a scant finger of suds. Retention is unremarkable but leaves a creamy cap and collar and a solid curtain of thin lacing.
Nose is faint. Vaguely soda-like with a bit of vaporous orange and lime but honestly not much else.
Taste is thin and boozy. Tasting tangerine and melon, white wine and seltzer water with a spritz of lime. Grapefruit juice character becomes more prominent the more I drink. Tastes way boozier than 8%.
Feel is thin and watery, dry and drying, light bodied with seltzer-like carbonation.
Overall, drinkable, mostly enjoyable, definitely intoxicating.

Can. Hazy pale golden orange. White head with lace.
Juicy, tropical, citrus, hoppy, soft, and creamy. Melon, honeydew, peach yogurt, mango, orange, and papaya. Very flavorful and easy drinking.

Can purchased from Other Half - Finger Lakes in Bloomfield, NY.
This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like exotic tropical fruits, white wine, orange cream, pine and grassiness, and grapefruit.
This one feels a touch different than all of the other IPAs - the Nelson and Sabro seem to come out a bit more, with a unique woody bitterness, and that classic grapey Nelson character. There's also some classic tropical citrus character.
This is light bodied, clean, crisp, and creamy, with a great drinkable. It doesn't feel quite as heavy duty as some of their double IPAs can be.
Other Half IPAs tend to all run together for me, so it was nice that at least this one stood out from the pack a little bit.

Decent beer - drank at the brewery itself a few months back. Good mouthfeel with limited taste of banana. I actually really enjoyed this one - solid citrus and good mouth feel.
