Pours very dark, thin mocha head fizzles out quickly. Boozy aroma, lots of coconut and macadamia nut. Flavor is dominated by the macadamia nut, has some fudge cake, light coconut. Barrel aging gives it a nice smoothness and a light dose of bourbon. Fairly sweet. Medium to full bodied, fairly syrupy with light carbonation. Overall a good beer, the macadamia nut addition dominated all the other adjuncts.

Poured from a 16.9 oz bottle into an Other Half Teku.
Pours a deep brown body, black in the glass with a small brown head that reduces to leave no lacing and a ring of retention.
Aromas of sweet milk chocolate, candied sugar, marshmallow, light cinnamon, macadamia, vanilla-bourbon.
On the tongue it’s pretty sweet but not cloying with notes of roasted nuts and toasted coconut, chocolate cake, vanilla-bourbon soaked brownies, light cinnamon as it warms. There’s an unfamiliar flavor in here though - perhaps from the macadamias? Unbelievably drinkable for 15%. Low carbonation, rich.
Overall a good sipping beer. Still trying to put my finger on the unknown flavor I’m getting.
