Poured from a 16.9 oz bottle into a tulip glass.
Pours a pitch black color with minimal head and lacing.
The aroma brings notes of peanut butter cups and booze. It smells like a Saturday night at my apartment. Sigh.
The flavor brings notes of peanut butter cups, roasted malts, dark chocolate, and booze. More like a Saturday night if I broke into a brewery.
The feel is full bodied with low carbonation. Slick, syrupy, and boozy like a Canadian hobo.
Overall, this beer is not terrible, but it's definitely not something I'd bother trying again. It's not overly sweet, but the alcohol just overpowers everything. I know it's 16% but damn. If you are obsessed with the combination of peanut butter cups and booze, you will probably like this beer

16.9oz bottle purchased at the brewery. Pours a viscous black with a thin layer of head. Dark chocolate peanut butter cups in the nose along with some roasted malts and earth. The taste is boozey with the dark chocolate peanut butter cups most notable. Sweet, but not overly so. Leather, earth dark cherries and toasted malts. A hint of light and sweet coffee at the end with more peanut butter. Slightly lighter body that expected. Lightly carbonated. Pretty boozey tasting, but I wouldn’t have guessed it was as high as 16%.
