Collaboration with Stillwater Artisanal
The perfect food tube, foil wrapped it's like another perfect metallic tube container we all know and love. We concocted this awesome tribute to the perfection of metallic tube foods with our buddy Brian at @stillwater_artisanal during hop harvest in Yakima, which it self is a well known source of incredible burritos. This burrito even has a special peel away foil label. Hopped with Citra, Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin, Citra Cryo, Simcoe Cryo.

This was another beer that I picked up in Brooklyn right before everything hit the fan as I was intrigued by it's name. No,, it didn't taste quite like a burrito but it had that spicy, meaty, juicy undertone that I'd expect from street food in New York that would be wrapped in foil as it was on par with Other Half's typical and enjoyable offerings that I've had over the years!
Liked the pour to this as the liquid was a deep gold with enough light seeping through to keep it somewhat bright. Not terribly cloudy, this had a nice head with nice, thin rings of lacing with lots of dotty splotches in between them. Lots of turbid tropical fruits, citrus rind, and orange blossom fruit in the nose as the taste was a bit different than the aroma indicated. Biting, full, and somewhat doughy, this was a balanced beer that tasted more like lettuce as it warmed up with hints of scallions and earthy vegetables as a tingle on my palate took hold and never quite let go.
Canned on 2/19 with "GUAC IS EXTRA" written underneath that, this was an interesting beer as it started off dank and fruit but got more vegetal and spicy as it warmed up and wore on. Hints of garlic, deep forest, and weedy chocolate emerged once this settled on my palate as the strong alcoholic presence fit in with the hop profile of this beer. The hops fro Yakima gave this a West Coast, earthy feel to this as everything was easily felt and enjoyed but the Nelson Sauvin. Once again, Other Half has a winner her that combined the best aspects of street food with what makes beer so enjoyable, as this left me nowhere near full while wanting more!

really nice can art - similar to the double mylar bags. Heavy at 10% ABV but really good to drink. Good citrus taste, smells of citrus fruit and pineapple.
