8th anniversary greatest hits week rebrew - [oured from a can (18Jan2022) into a teku
L: completely opaque, slightly creamy yellow orange - real oj vibes. Big, off white head - fades slowly, massive chunky lacing as it does
S: bright, inviting tropical nose with a bit of dank in the background. Some great citrus, lemon/lime and clementine. Richer topical juice lurking behind, get pineapple - pleasantly sweet, fruit sugar
T: follows the nose nicely, great flavor. Get some of the usual (and great) tropical flavors - pineapple, hard candy. That lemon/lime flavor suggested by the nose is really great, and something that puts this brew apart from others I’ve had (OH and otherwise). Overall would call the profile slightly sweet and lighter than most OH DIPAs. Bit of pleasant bitterness in the finish
F: medium+ body, medium carbonation. Smooth, pillowy, the slightest bit drying
O: big fan of this, driven by that differentiated lemon/lime thing

Deeply creamy, cloudy banana-peel yellow with a finger-and-a-half of yellowed head. Scuzzy lacing.
Tangerine and clementines, citrus pith, a little white pepper and grass in the nose.
Very creamy tasting with some spearmint, pine needles, lime and citrus pith. Definitely give a wintergreen or Shamrock Shake impression underneath a more traditional tropical-citrus NEIPA.
Full bodied with prickly carbonation.
Very tasty.

Pours opaque orange gold color which looks like a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice with a 2+ finger thick foamy beige colored head that faded very slowly and left excellent lacing coating the glass. Smells of tangerine, orange peel, pineapple, melon, biscuit, white wine and coriander. It's a soft citrus aroma that works well with the malty base and hoppy spices.
Taste has a lot more citrus with grapefruit, apricot and orange juice joining the tangerine, orange peel, pineapple and melon. Like the nose it has biscuit, white wine and coriander, as well as toasted grains, rose pedals, fresh cut grass, fruity candy like gummy bears and Razzles, some light peppery spices and lemon zest as it fades. A lot of lemony citrus notes, this got more complex with each sip.

This was another beer that I picked up at Other Half recently but thankfully, didn't take too long to get around to! Love the label as it looked as realistic as could be but thankfully, the beer on the inside was pretty darned enjoyable as well. The hope profile was a bit unusual but the end result was something readily familiar while being easy on the palate at the same time.
A good pour to this as the liquid was a bright, and slightly turbid, apricot as there was plenty of head topping this off that slowly settled. A nice, thick, rocky ring could be seen a bit below the top of my pint glass as the lacing below that was spotty and splotchy the rest of the way down. Lots of lemon dry, dry lime, funky white wine, and sugary skittles in the nose with exotic tropical fruit and jack fruit in the taste. Dry in taste but slick on the palate, this grew on me as it warmed up as it had a nice balance between sweetness, dankness, and an exotic undertone. I'm not very familiar with Pacific and Wai-Iti as hops but they melded nicely with the more familiar ones as this didn't last in my pint glass for very long.
Hard to believe this had 10.2% ABV in this as it was extremely well-hidden as I didn't even feel it on my breath once I finished this off. Canned on 1/27/20 with nothing written above or below it, this was another enjoyable beer from Other Half that left me wanting more from Parish at the same time. It's fun beers like this that keep me coming back for more after all these years!
