So glad that Other Half is able to get beers from their Rochester brewery down this way as it allows for gems like this to be accessible to someone like me who doesn't trade or get out of state that often. All the other beers in the Chroma series have been simplistically wonderful and that was the case with this too as it beautifully featured the Mosaic hop. If you're into that, than this beer would easily be worth seeking out!
Of course, this had a typical Other Half pour to it but that's not such a bad thing! A moderate head topped the golden liquid off as it was hazy, a bit dark, and subtly bright. A few thin and soapy rings of lacing were near the top as they got more sparse near the middle of my pint glass. The aroma was quite appealing as it was full of orange peel, citrus pith, dry lime, and outdoorsy fruit with the taste having a raw, earthy tinge to it. Strawberry patch and fruit cocktail entered the fray once this hit my palate as this was nicely balanced while being fully dank, vegetal, and juicy at the same time. While this only featured Mosaic, it felt like it had hints of Citra and Galaxy to it, as that as a testament to how well Other Half brought out one hop and made it multifaceted.
Yes, there's a lot of booze in this and although I couldn't quite taste it, it was here as I felt it on my breath and had a buzz before I finished this off. Basic bread and cracker were in the malt as the carbonation was light enough to let the flavors emerge. Those were increasingly dank and heavy as I worked my way through this with peach and apricot dankness emerging well before I finished this off. Hints of mint freshness and deep forest lingered as I finished this off, as this easily left me wanting more. Nice job by Other Half with this as it was on par with their other quality offerings. Canned on 2/25 with "MASTER XXXCE" written underneath it, this left me wanting more and wishing that every hop would undergo the Chroma treatment by these guys!

Canned 02/25/20, can't make out what it reads however.
The pour is an opaque golden yellow, with frothy white head that sticks eagerly to the insides of the glass. The heavy lacing decorates in random patterns as the beer falls.
Immediately on the nose I get dank & earthy. However, give it a couple seconds and it follows up with a burst of sweet fruit and bubblegum; I'm getting grapefruit, peach, cantaloupe, and strawberry. Good subtle complexity here, equally characterizing many different aspects of Mosaic.
Dank, earthy, piney... very hop-forward on the palate. It's honestly a great contrast to many Imperial hazy IPAs out there right now. There are underlying notes of bright ruby red grapefruit and bubblegum, with a touch of spiced blueberries and floral hops on the tail.
Mouthfeel is great; medium-bodied with a clean viscosity, thorough mouth-coating, and a boozy warmth in the finish.
