Snickerdoodle Concrete Imperial Stout with Cinnamon, Vanilla, Soft Serve Ice cream and Milk Sugar. This ice cream machine isn't broken, and the cookies are already mixed in. So thick you can stand a spoon in it, you just can't get it at a drive-thru.

Black color with no head. Vanilla ice cream, cocoa, hint of cinnamon and booze in the aroma. Moderately sweet but not cloying and easy to drink. Alcohol is very well hidden.

Gotta love the label to this as there's a McDonald's right across the street from Other Half and lots of people buying beer there over the years have used it for a spot, or for a restroom before the brewery opens. While this wasn't thick enough to stand a spoon in, this was a nice American Imperial Stout that was enjoyable, felt weaker than it was, and was nearly on par with similar offerings from Other Half that I've had.

Of course, this poured dark as the liquid has a cola hue to it minus the bubbles. A lively, mocha head topped it off although it's bark was louder than it's bite as it quickly settled down. Quite a bit of soft-serve ice cream and cocoa powder in the nose as the taste contained vanilla bean, cake batter, Oreo cookies, and a bit of cinnamon warmth to liven things up. A bit of snickerdoodle, some lactose stickiness, and milk sugar rounded things out as this was a dessert beer that was much stronger than anything I'd get at a fast-food restaurant.

That's because of the booze in this was was potent, noticeable, and somehow on par with everything else that was going on here. Yes, this was a force to be reckoned with but with so much sugary sweetness, cookie crunchiness, and lactose stickiness to be had, this ended up being as smooth as could be on the palate and in the aftertaste. Not sure if Other Half sold a million of these but this deserves to be enjoyed on a cold night such as this as it was as fitting a nightcap as could be for an American Imperial Stout. Just don't ask for any toppings on this!
