A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of lime citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of honeydew citrus.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is packed with hoppy aromas and flavors and is quite easy to drink.

The can says this is named "Accidental Daydream Oat Cream IPA" But ok, if I got that wrong, These guys and these guys and their beer names.

This Daydream is bright and hazy yellow-straw (SRM 3). A big 1.5" tight, white head lingers a long while, slowly settling to a thin ring and b=blanket. Dense patches of webbing lace the Spiegelau IIPA Glass.

A strong mix of grapefruit and pine give way to light sourness. And unpleasant cattiness and grass comes on strong after several minutes.

Bitterness makes a bold entrance, leaving no space for the fruit. Citrus and pine show-up late, followed by unripe apricot. Sweetness, while high, is concealed by the bitterness. Warmth does gradually gain respect with warmth.

This is a fully bodied beer, with a heavy wool texture. Bold carbonation is appropriate, as is the presence of alcohol. It is more astringent than one would have expected.

While the cattiness is very unfortunate, the biggest surprise is how dramatically it diminishes with only a couple weeks of age. Fresh is was a welcome pairing on a hot summer afternoon. Two weeks later, the all the negative qualities have been amplified, even adding a light burnt rubber flavor.

From a 16oz can, dated… 11/02/21? Purchased at the brewery 12/17/21. FLX has cans lying around for a month and a half? Anyway… served in an IPA glass.

Pours a milky-pale pineapple-yellow with two fingers of soft, pouffy suds. Retention is excellent, leaving a heavy sudsy cap and a thick, foamy curtain of lacing.

Nose is disappointingly faint but otherwise pleasant in a soft tropical fruit/ pithy citrus sort of way.

Taste is rindy, bitter and biscuity. Tangerine flavour dominates but tasting lots of grapefruit and some pineapple. Earthy and orangey with a bracing aspirin-like bitterness.

Feel is juicy but with a soft oaty slickness, medium bodied lightened by nearly aggressive carbonation.

Overall, pretty tasty stuff. The tangerine or orange character builds and becomes almost overbearing but the problem, if it is a problem, is resolved by simply chugging the remainder of the glass.

Pours cloudy orange gold color with a 2 finger thick foamy/creamy off-white head that faded very slowly and left excellent foamy lacing. Smells of tangerine, melon, biscuit, grapefruit, toasted grains, peppery spices, yeast, herbs and orange peel. It’s kind of muted, but still smells nice with a lot of citrus aromas.

Tastes good as well, with tangerine, orange peel, grapefruit, melon, faint pineapple, biscuit, toasted grains, a little caramel, floral notes, buttery crackers, peppery spices, yeast, herbs and apricot in the finish. Balanced more with the flavors playing off each other nicely, completely hiding the ABV and going down easy with the mild bitterness.

Tall can direct from the source....dated "2/17/21"

Typical quality look to this OH pour...fully hazed and leaving all sorts of off white froth, sheeting and splattered fine lacing.

Ripe melon sniff.

Super soft on the tongue, ripe fruits abounding with melon, peaches, bananas coming to mind. Love OH brews, and this one hits the note....Fruity, fresh, subtly flavorful....more mighty fine NEIPA from OH...go get some

Can purchased from Other Half Finger Lakes in Bloomfield, NY.

This one pours a hazy and creamy looking golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like mango, passionfruit, orange marmalade, lactose, and guava.

This is a nice little beer, I always tend to prefer Other Half's single IPAs over their doubles/triples. It's quite citrusy and juicy, with a moderately bitter bite on the back end. The lactose/oats aren't overdone, it kind of just smoothes it out on the finish with a pleasant but approachable bitterness.

This is light bodied, creamy, and very drinkable, with a very smooth finish.

It's certainly hard to keep all of these beers straight, but this is a nice new one.
