Imperial stout aged 16 months in bourbon barrels with vanilla, hazelnuts, milk sugar and coffee.

Pours a dark brown, almost black with a mocha colored head that leaves a tiny ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell is sweet vanilla and hazelnut with some chocolate and boozy bourbon.
The bourbon is lost in the taste, sweet milk sugar vanilla, hazelnut some week coffee and a hint of milk chocolate.
Sticky medium body with medium carbonation.
Overall I have rarely found a beer to have the same rating across the board but this one does. Sweet but not quite cloying, ABV hidden well. Enjoyable but not something I would search for due to the sweetness.
