Smoothly blended and citrusy plush with a tangy, tart edge - suggestions of sweet fruits from tropical to citrus to berry - soft and tingly - if you're into NEIPAs and Simcoe hops, this is perfect...

I get a combination of berry, grapefruit peel, and fresh woodsy pine on the nose. Get a little bit on cotton candy in the flavor (must be the berry). The bitterness is "smooth" and makes this an enjoyable single hop beer showcasing Simcoe.

Can dated 6/16/21 into pint glass. Pours a very hazy light gold with a brief off-white head. Initial impression is juicy grapefruit, orange rind, and a hint of pine. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish is slightly bitter. Overall, an excellent single hop DIPA.

A fine single hop DIPA that brought lots of bitterness and a ton of flavors including grapefruit, orange peel, tangerine, melon, tropical fruit and what seems like dry citrus hops. It also had floral and piney notes, earthy tastes, tea leaf, biscuit, peppery spices and crackers (whole wheat). Well balanced and easy to drink, another tasty OH brew.

Poured from a can (16Jun2021) into a teku
L: pours a completely opaque, slightly creamy, lighter yellow orange with a moderate dense white head. Fades after a couple minutes, leaving some great chunky lacing as it does (as does each sip)
S: really excellent tropical dank aroma here. Not necessarily an explosion when I crack the can, but bringing the glass up to my nose is making me thirsty. Great notes of pineapple, berry, passionfruit, apricot. Solid dank weedy/pine character as well. Slightly sweet from the fruit, in a balanced way - pine/earthy notes pair well
T: delivers what the nose suggested, great pithy tropical fruit onslaught with some very pleasant earthy bitterness in the finish. Pineapple and berry notes lead, with a nice mix of passionfruit/apricot/sweet fruit following. Great flavor without becoming too sweet. Toward the middle those earthier notes come out, bit of dank pine adding bitterness. Long, bitter finish - fairly well-balanced, but as it warms/I drink more enjoying it a bit less. Back and forth here, overall I like it
F: medium body and carbonation, smooth but not creamy, drying bitterness
O: great DIPA showing what Simcoe is all about. Excellent nose, very good flavor - finish what has me wavering

One of the best New England IPAs I have ever had! Super drinkable. In the same league as treehouse IPAs

A: Pours a hazy yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a nice cap that leaves good lacing
S: Tropical fruit and citrus up front along with some lighter pine and earthy simcoe notes
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with lots of tropical notes and then picks up some citrus and earthy undertones. Berry notes in there as well. Moderate bitterness. Finishes with lingering tropical and earthy notes
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth
O: A very good IIPA that is super drinkable. Nice simcoe notes to go along with the base recipe without overtaking. Definitely worth checking out
