Poured into a small stemmed tulip. A colab with Monkish brewed at the Other Half DC brewery. No canned on date, but I estimate about a 30-45 days old.
These colaborations don't always work out, but I think they knocked this one out of the park. One of the best Other Half I have ever tasted.
A - Pours orange. The brightest and most intense orange this side of orange juice. White-white head that dissipates rather quickly to a thin layer. Decent lacing for just a high ABV. 4.5
S - But the aroma does not reflect the intensity of the orange color. The aroma is more flora with hints of pineapple, with an almost perfume like quality. 4.5
T - The taste is even further away from the appearance and not totally in line with the aroma. Dominated by herbal and citrus rind bitterness. No fruitness to speak off except for some very minor sweetness.
MF - Medium body with a dry silky finish that ends sharply. 4.25
