Magic Dips Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Ice Cream Imperial Stout with our soda jerk pals Omnipollo. This is dosed with a healthy amount of strawberries and cacao nibs alongside a good dose of milk sugar.

Bottle pour at Other Half FInger Lakes in Bloomfield, NY.
THis one pours a fairly dark black color, with a pretty small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like dried strawberry, vanilla, and fudge.
This isn't a huge strawberry bomb, and that kind of works for me, really. There's a nice fudgy note to it, with some slight sweet vanilla. Despite the extremely sweet sounding name, it's not as sweet as the typical OH stout. I'm not saying it's not sweet, it certainly is - but it isn't the saccharine hellscape I'm used to lately.
This is thick, creamy, with no real booziness to it. It's drinkable enough.
I liked this one a bit more than I figured I would. It's nothing world beating, but it's good enough.

Split a bottle with a friend. No so much the ice cream part but definitely the chocolate covered strawberries. Much better than one might think. Definitely a desert beer.

Mid sized bottle direct from the Domino park, Brooklyn brand new OH location a few days ago.
I don't see any freshness/ best before/bottling date info.
Pours the darkest shade of brown, any head limited to a super fine bubble film,
On the sniff its loud strawberries, and a heavy under coating of molten dark chocolate.
More of the same basic theme on the palate, all sorts of rich dark chocolate with a constant strawberry note shining through. Dusty and drying hops in the finish...terrific stuff....stout lovers rejoice...got get some and savor every sip.
