Other Half Brewing - Center Street

We brewed this beauty back in October of 2019 when Trevor and Linsey from DeGarde came out for Shelton Brothers Festival in Buffalo (remember beer fests?). With them they brought some of their wonderful house culture which was blended with one of our own house cultures, this one being the culture that was captured in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. We open-fermented and conditioned this beer in French oak for 9 months. This complex beer reveals aromatic notes of stonefruit (peach!), citrus and berries with lemon peel, rose water and orange blossom honey on the palette and a medium level of acidity with some tannins. A true pleasure to have DeGarde for a visit full of drinking crunchees and plotting how to hug possums.
