This is typical of an Other Half IPA in that it looks good and smells good, but the flavor is dank in a way that’s not the regular lineup of grapefruit, orange peel, tangerine, etc.; this has mango or papaya plus fruity candy like Razzles or Fruit Loops cereal. Tasty any way you slice it.

From a 2-week-old can, pours a hazy yellow-gold. Bright white head leaves decently thick lacing. Smell and taste are mostly passionfruit and yellow grapefruit. Light drying bitterness. A little one-dimensional. Good but not great.

From a 16oz can, dated 12/07/20. Served in an IPA glass.
Pours a milkily opaque pale gold with two-plus fingers of soft, lathery suds. Retention is excellent, leaving a fat, whipped cream-like cap and a creamy curtain of lacing.
The nose is fairly subdued. Creamy-sweet, pear, custard, orange creamsicle.
Taste is juicyand dank, oily, orange rind and an earthy, composty, pineappley bitterness. Still getting pear and coconut custard, oily orange peel, grapefruit juice.
Feel is clean and juicy, medium bodied and brightly carbonated. A little high octane drying at the end.
Overall, pretty darn good and super-easy to suck down. My only complaint is that, while the coconut cream character was intriguing and enjoyable for the first maybe two-thirds of the glass, by the end it was tasting fake and a little reminiscent of a car air freshener.
