Poured a light-yellow body with decent head that slowly died and left a lace sheath down the glass. The aroma seems to mix mild tropical fruits with some grassy citric hops. Smooth beer, light-bodied, hides ABV well, has a decent fruity sweetness that hold sway over an earthy dryness and crispness to beer that is noticeable on finish.

8th review of Other Half Space Cut (wow)
Grapefruit sherbet body, ice head, rings of lasting lace. 4
As expected aroma of melon and grapefruit cocktail. Add floral as she warms. 3.75
Burst forward flavors, really big for a 6% IPA, hop heaven without the burnt tongue. 4
Feel is fizzy, refreshing, slightly creamy. 4
O) Exceptional 6% IPA. 4

Beautiful color and density; soft, pale yellow body with a strong cloudiness; thick and frothy white head, rocky and sculpted with spidery patches of foam adhering to the glass. Soft, bready malt body scent infused with a light lemon character. Soft, subtle flavors; warm bread crust with a touch of lemon followed with a moderate hop bitterness; muted tangy taste; very mild phenols. Medium body; soft and warm on the palate; gentle acidic sharpness adds depth; moderate overall dryness.
This is a beautifully produced imperial IPA. The looks, taste, and feel and exquisite, delivering some very fine depth and complexity to the tasting experience.

Picked this up recently at Other Half, as well as bunch of other beers brewed at their different locations. I expected this to be a lot like the Space Diamonds and to a large extent, it was as this was quite green and dank. It was relatively typical fare for them but given their high standard that I hold them to, that was certainly a good thing!
This had a nice, goldenrod hue to it with a moderately fluffy head that was topped off by quite a few big bubbles. The lacing left behind was very extensive, with a few well-defined soapy rings near the top and loads of soapy splotches and dots below that. Lot of fruit cocktail, tropical fruit, and turbid hops in the nose as the taste followed suit. Dank, fleshy, and full of rind in the back, there was a good amount of grape, papaya, melon, and honeydew in the taste as the malt was basic and the carbonation just lively enough to keep this from feeling too heavy. Some apricot and stone fruit were in the back as this was smooth sipper with a slick feel on the palate and a softly sticky residue on my lips.
There was enough booze in this but not enough to crowd out the Strata and Galaxy that made this feel like fermented swamp water. Canned on 1/26, there wasn't any residue in this as it felt as fresh as could be. Love the holographic label as the beer inside would be fitting for any hophead, or fan of Other Half.

Pours a golden with that cantaloupey texture. With soapy pillowy white head. A little orange pez candy and a little soap on the nose. There's a touch of underlying mango with overcurrents of pithy citrus. A little bit of grapefruit peel and textured peppery bitterness on the finish. This is soft and delicate in a way I wouldn't expect from Other Half, but it's probably my favorite of the beers I got from this mixed 4-pack.

12-10-20 stamped on bottom of can. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Hazy straw yellow with 1-2 finger white frothy head with good retention and webs of lacing.
S: Grassy, herbal, almost minty aromas with more fruity grapefruit, guava, and lemon also
T: Flavor is heavier on fruity esters but lemon, white grapefruit, guava, lemongrass, and mint blend with substantial pale malty background. Low bitterness and very estery.
M: Very smooth and soft with medium body and low-medium carbonation.
O: Good NEIPA but not the brightest or complex hop character.

Canned 12/10/20, it pours cloudy orange color with an almost 2 finger thick foamy white head that was packed with tiny bubbles, fading slowly and leaving excellent foamy camouflage style lacing coating the glass.
Smells of grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, papaya, wet citrus hops, light piney notes, fresh cut flowers, biscuit, caramel and coriander or possibly cumin. A very fresh and tropical nose overall.
Flavor has more sweetness than the nose with orange juice, fruity candy, peach, brown sugar and bready malt like it had syrup drizzled on it. Those tastes are in addition to the grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, lemon, orange peel, floral hops, coriander, biscuit and light peppery spices. Really well balanced and easy to drink, this came off as dry hopped but was still fresh and juicy tasting.
