can to snifter
LK:light yellow, light haze, small wispy white head. good retention.
AR: leaves, perfume, light citrus
TA: perfumy hair spray taste starts light at first sip, but fully dominates finish. melon and citrus drop in here and there.
FL: light body, ok carbonation, but a little watery.
meh. some clashing flavors (perfume vs. citrus with unfortunately perfume winning out)

Pours a pale color with a finger of head. The nose has definite notes of grapefruit. Grapefruit is also prominent in the flavor profile along with some orange zest and a piney finish. The body is a bit thin even for the style.

16oz can poured into a tulip
A- pours a hazy pale yellow with a one finger foamy white head that has great retention and leaves some lacing behind
S- green onions, garlic, citrus peel, mango, a hint of melon, fairly muted
T- herbaceous hop notes up front give notes of mango, green melon and passionfruit. Mid palate gives some citrus zest and a hint of green onion, the finish gives a distinct note of muscadine grapes and cantaloupe
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that finishes creamy
O- I didn't have high hopes after the aroma but this hop combination really comes through on the flavor

Can dated 5/3/21 into pint glass. Pours a pale hazy gold with a thin white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is nice juicy pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and a touch of pine, nicely backed by subdued caramel malt. Mouthfeel is soft and slightly sticky. Finish is more citrus, fading to a slight bitterness. Overall, a very enjoyable New England-style DIPA.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Deep orange body and opaque. Fairly solid looking but not turbid, and a real dark orange color. Classic bright white, and very creamy like head, dolloped like ice cream. This has real big sheets of clingy lacing as it settles, just all around the glass. Great looking beer especially the top head.
Aroma is of light malts, and a very nice but soft hop aroma consisting of earth and dank notes. Slight touches of perfume like florals too, which is a real nice accent, almost lavender like.
Palate makes a different angle, which is a nice and very impressive surprise. Mid palate washes in a hop citrus, particularly a bursting tangerine like orange. Real pillowy soft mouthfeel, almost creamy like on the tongue, giving a hint of milky like sweetness as well. Aftertaste washes in citrus orange, and minimal bitterness, with barely even a trace of alcohol kick. Mild sensing soft pine and earth bitterness as well.
Real nicely put together big IPA that doesn't knock you out. This is a real impressive IPA that sure could be addictively dangerous.

From a 16oz can, dated 12/22/20. Served in an IPA glass.
Pours an opaque, cloudy, dull apricot sort of color with a finger of soft, fluffy head. Retention is good, settling to a dense creamy cap and a foamy sheet of lacing.
Nose is muted and it’s hard to pick out anything other than a sort of soft, sweet orange aroma.
Tastes of grapefruit, orange peel, unripened peach, nectarine and papaya with light, baking soda-like bitterness over a nice, soft cakey maltiness. A little pink grapefruit boozy bitterness lingers.
Feel is smooth and dense, medium-hefty bodied with vigorous carbonation.
Overall, a real pleasure! Nothing that makes me say ‘wow’ but no flaws, either, just solid DIPA drinking enjoyment.
