Continuing our exploration of maximizing thiol (think tropical fruit character) contributions to our IPAs this time with Citra as the main driver but with a relatively classic dank hop Columbus along for the ride in just the right amounts.

Pours a hazy straw color with over a finger of head. The nose is dank - just as advertised. The flavor is both citrusy and earthy. The finish is pithy with a trace of alcohol dryness.

Picked this up at Other Half recently, as I was eager to give this a go based on it's name. Sure enough, this could have been called "All Dank Everything" as it was every bit the part from start to finish. Plenty slick from feeling too heavy, this got better as it warmed up and was on par with what Other Half's been turning out in recent releases!
Nice pour to this as the liquid was golden, silently luminous, and topped off with plenty of long-lasting head. The lacing left behind was deep, thin, and layered for a good chunk of the way down the side of my pint glass. Lots of solid orange, dank tropical fruit, subtle cream, deep forest, and Columbus hops in the nose as the taste was sweet, sticky, a bit dewy, and exactly how a beer with Phantasm should feel on the palate. Plenty heavy, the forest was stronger on the tongue with a hint of mint and weed to round this out as it was plenty full and dank but just as easily accessible with a nice carbonation and warming effect to it in the aftertaste.
That was partially due to the alcohol in this as it was complementary to everything else that was going on here. Love the shiny label with the capsules but once again, there was nothing stamped on the bottom of the can even though this was as fresh as could be, with nothing floating in or settled at the bottom of the liquid. If you love dank beers, seek this out as it's another winner in Other Half's lineup!

Nice appearance with a yuzu colored pour with large bubbled head. Dank is definitely the name of the game here. Dank forest aroma. Dank tropical fruits are also part of the nose profile. Juicy but leaning more toward those dank hoppy notes in the flavor. Decent balanced bitterness and redolent of English bitter ale but with obviously more alcohol content which is apparent on the aftertaste. Re-tasted 3 days later with a little more appreciation. Upping the scores all around this brew needed to warm up to reveal the complexities.
