This was another beer from Other Half that I picked up a few weeks back in a big haul, as I was eager to give this beast a go. Oddly enough, it didn't taste or feel strong but the heft was there underneath all of the sunny and plush tones that this emitted right off the bat. Even for these guys, this ended up breaking some new ground for me!
Like many of the other offerings, this was the color of juice with plenty of opaqueness and nicely proportional head that topped it off stuck around for the duration. The lacing left behind was quite layered and extensive as this had all the characteristics of a juice bomb from New England. Lots of deep orange with grape, lemon, citrus zest, and funky wood in there as some deep floral and tropical notes emerged in the taste, along with some exotic jack fruit. The booze warmed up quickly as this went down so easily in a blaze, like a sunset but with some underlying heat seeping into the fray.
Loved the presence of the Pacific Sunrise hops as this almost made this feel like a fine wine that had some Nelson Sauvin in it, but with plenty of sticky mango and papaya on my lips once I finished this off. The carbonation was light and the malt was basic as this was a hop-forward beer that I'd easily reach for again. Once again, I'm wondering where the date on the bottom of the can went as that was all this beer needed to improve upon.

Pours a thick cloudy hazy pale gold with a consistent head. Smells pungent, piney, orange, sour citrus. Tastes of mild grapefruit, orange. Feels dry and crisp, extremely light-bodied. Easy to sip, dangerously powerful.
