This was another beer that I picked up from Other Half recently as part of their anniversary collaboration beers, as it sounded great and had an nice label. Once again, this didn't disappoint as it was a heavy, triple or Imperial IPA that was plenty dank, heavy, and slick on the palate from the first sip down to the last drop!
The hue to this beer was a deep golden apricot with some light seeping in around the edges. Not a lot of head topped this off as the lacing left behind was in the form of a few thin rings near the top of my pint glass with lots of spotty splotches the rest of the way down. Big-time pineapple, mango, and orange cream in the nose as the taste was just as turbid, weighty, and chock full of booze. Overripe with hints of weed, there here hints of raw chocolate and Galaxy to go with everything else as this beer didn't hold any punches back. Sticky on the tongue and lips and light in carbonation, this felt a bit syrupy and easily warmed me up well before I finished it off.
This was a beast and an even more potent take on the Triple Space Diamonds as some exotic star and jack fruit took hold in the way back end of this, right before I finished it off. Canned on 1/21 with "TERP SAUCE" written underneath it, the Mosaic and El Dorado gave this a dank and earthy feel that was tempered just enough by the Citra slickness. On a snowy night like tonight, this hit the spot when it came to a post-shoveling brew that warmed me up just enough!
