Poured from a 16oz can into a tulip glass.
L - Poured oil black with ruby hues. Thick and viscous with a thin tan head that quickly subsided.
S - Some alcohol up front, but not overwhelming. Definite aromas of vanilla and cacao. Slightly smokey and metallic.
T - The vanilla smokiness dominates but pleasantly. The booziness isn't lost, but even at 10.3%, it's quite drinkable.
MF - Coates the mouth well but it isn't cloying. Low carbonation and pretty smooth.
O - I can't believe I typed this much, I'm going to pair this bad boy with a cigar before I drink it all! Enjoy!

Dark mahogany pouring out of the can, but pitch black in the glass. Viscous and opaque with a modest mocha colored head that quickly dissipates to nothingness.
Aromas of cocoa nibs, vanilla, dark fruit and toasted biscuity malts. The nose also has a woodsy and earthy spice as well as a light smokiness.
Sweet but not boozy with flavors of vanilla, dark and milk chocolate, dark fruit and thick doughy malts. Well spiced with a touch of smoky malts, along with woodsy and minty hops. The finish is smooth and slightly warming.
Full bodied and viscous. The mouthfeel is smooth and mouth coating. The carbonation is gentle.
This was full of complex flavors and enjoyable. For the high ABV it is easy to drink.

Wish there was more head (who doesn’t) but strong vanilla and chocolate ringing through. Delicious way to end the day (and at 10.5% perhaps the night if I have a second one).
