Picked up this beer a few weeks back as I didn't know anything about it or what was in it. Anything triple dry hopped from Other Half tends to be good and this fit that bill as it was plenty strong, boozy, and full of green and tropical goodness that has come to define these guys over the years!
This poured like orange juice with plenty of soft, bubbly head topping it off as the lacing left behind contained thing rings and was quite extensive all the way down the side of my pint glass. Lots of booze, onion, lychee, star fruit, tropical fruits in the nose as the taste was very strong and packed full of spicy flavor. Fruit punch, papaya and melon rind, and dank hops emerged in the taste as this was not a beer to be reckoned with! The Motueka and Galaxy took hold over the other hops here as this got more dank and vegetal as it fully warmed up. Basic malt, hints of rye, and an underlying stickiness rounded out the mouthfeel as one can was more than enough for me, even this left me wanting more!
The carbonation was light and I nearly needed a chaser of water to get this down, as I enjoyed all this had to offer and appreciated how warm this kept me on a cold night! Dated 1/28 on the bottom, this was a triple with enough tropical flavor to hold it's own, while still soft and plush as the best from Other Half. Loved this beer as I'd easily buy it again...

Pours a dark, murky orange with a big fluffy head that sticks around for quite a bit.
Lovely tropical fruit mix on the nose. Pineapple and mango and grape with just a hint of pine in the background. It's hard to pick out individual scents but it all blends nicely for a great fruit punch smell.
It's dryer than you might expect based on the smell. Dank pine flavors up front that fade into the juicy, fruitier notes. There's a bit of funky vegetal flavors here too. Especially the sort of green onion bite. This is the kind of beer where it tastes kinda boozy but I think the booze just helps to amplify the other flavors going on rather than tasting "boozy". The balance between sweet/dry is nice, though this one definitely leans heavily toward dry.
Feel is fairly thick and creamy but not so much that you'd call it a "cream IPA." It's just about right. Nice carbonation that goes well with the dryness of the flavors.
I tend to gravitate toward Other Half's "green" beers, I think this one falls into that category. They tend to have nice dank, dry flavors layered in with the typical tropical juice flavors you expect from Other Half. This one takes it to the extreme with the dryness. I like it but if you like your IPAs sweeter, this one might be a bit much.
