Part of our series celebrating OG styles we don't often brew and ingredients we don't use. In this case, a robust London-style Porter brewed with floor malted malts from UK's oldest malting company, Warminster. We used floor malted Maris Otter, Brown Malt and 2 types of crystal malts from Warminster. We topped this off by hopping it with classic East Kent Golding hops from the UK and using a traditional British yeast strain.

Can purchased from Other Half Finger Lakes in Bloomfield, NY.
This one pours a moderately dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like roasted malt, coffee, smoke, and some light chocolate.
This is certainly a nice change-up from 95% of what Other Half does. It's nothing crazy, but good for the cold weather. It's creamy, slighly roasty, with a nice level of bitterness.
This is quite drinkable, with a nice creaminess. It's a little bit thin, but that's basically the style.
