Bright brilliant orange with a thin head that dissipates quickly.
Nose is grassy and white grapey with maybe a hint of pineapple in the background.
Taste is fairly sweet initially but there is a bit of a dry finish. The main flavor I get is citrus juice with a little bit of bitterness. There's also a sweet white wine note to it with a little bit of dry pine flavor in the finish. Actually the more I drink it, the more I think it leans more toward bitter/dry than toward sweet. It's hard to pick out the individual flavors, but there's definitely some floral notes going on in there too. It's remarkable easy drinking for a 10 percenter though.
Mouth feel is quite nice with adequate carbonation.
This one is kind of exactly what you think an Other Half TIPA is going to taste like. There are a lot of flavors mingling and at times it tastes sweet and juicy and other sips feel more dry and bitter. A very good IPA, though nothing about it stands out as particularly memorable.
