Soft yellow body; lightly opaque; thick white head, dense and creamy; spidery fingers of lacing grace the glass. Musty citrus smell; touch of lemon. Biscuit-like malt base; light lemon bread flavor; mild hop bitterness. Heavy body; velvety; moderate residual sugar note; mildly acidic.
Canning date: 01-26-21. Well, a pretty tasty NEIPA even for being over two-months old. Perhaps the Nelson hops might have been dialed up in intensity a bit if I tried it fresher, but the beer still is quite satisfying.
