We bag this one up with big doses of Citra, Citra Cryo, and Citra Incognito, Nelson Sauvin and a small touch of Sabro for some creamy tropical fruit character (but not coco crazy!). We brew this with pils malt and flaked oats and wheat.

Tropical, grassy, and juicy. I wish I rated it fresher. After I opened it, I ended up dozing off, waking up, then cooled it in the fridge for a few hours before drinking it. Seems to have lost some of the strength in how juicy it was. Cloudy yellow hues, strong lacing. Dank, tropical, citrusy scents. Follows on the flavor, a bit on piney bitterness. Subtly assertive boozy presence, dry finish, medium bodied, crisp and clean. Not bad.

APRIL 2024. 16 Oz can (12 €), It's an 8% Double Dry Hopped Imperial India Pale Ale.
Hops used indicated on the label: Citra, Cryo Citra, Citra Incognito, Nelson Sauvin and Sabro.
Freshly uncorked, intense aromas of mango, papaya and passion fruit, with a lighter hint of pineapple.
Poured is a pale yellow, completely opaque: it looks like pear juice. Minimal foam.
Not very inviting appearance, compensated by a magnetic scent.
In the mouth, beer with a medium/full body (masked well, I would have expected a "heavier" body) with a very light carbonation.
In the mouth, the tropical and citric flavours alternate, invading the palate and leaving a fruit salad taste that remains well after drinking.
It almost creates a sticky film on the lips...
Explosive, fragrant and extremely fruity.
The finish is not bitter, but dampened by the silkiness of the yeasts probably used.
With every sip a truly explosive and invasive fruit bouquet explodes.
Modern, in some ways excessive... but very particular: the taste of tropical fruit salad remains on the palate long after drinking.

Typical excellence in the fruity hazy wheelhouse from OH Brooklyn. Nelson weaves its way in here in a useful way, bringing some characteristic winey white grape notes on both the nose and palate, breaking up the smooth tropical fruitiness just a smudge. Very rounder mid weight body, fairly easy to drink with more
Nelson notes coming out in the finish. Not one of their very top tier but still quite enjoyable.
