Poured from a can (07May2021) into a Teku
L: pours a totally opaque yellow orange with a thick white head featuring some pretty large bubbles. Leaving some chunky lacing as it fades. Fairly quick single thread of visible carbonation right at the edge
S: melon-forward tropical bomb. Tons of freshly cut mango, grapefruit juice, some light lemon/lime, tangerine. Slightly sweet but a nice citrusy bitterness cuts through
T: definitely that sweeter melon character that’s been present in some OH brews lately. I don’t mind it, and really like the flavor overall. Mango and melon the dominant flavors I’m getting, some of the citrusy mix as well - tangerine/grapefruit/etc. A little bit of bite toward the finish, grapefruit thing going on
F: medium+ body, medium carbonation, very slightly drying, smooth and fairly creamy
O: really excellent DIPA from OH. That standard i.e. great, slightly sweet, rich fruit-forward brew you expect. May blend in a little with recent offerings
