For Citra Week, we thought we’d make our first Triple Dry Hopped Chroma. Even better, we brewed it twice! This batch features Hass Citra hops with more lime, grapefruit, and tropical notes.

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like lime, grapefruit, marijuana, heavy duty pine, and some light maltiness.

These are both good beers, but the Yakima Chief version is a bit better. This is very weedy, with a resinous bitterness, along with grapefruit, lime, and big citrusy notes - orange, tangerine, mango, etc.

This is light bodied, clean, with a lingering bitterness on the back end.

The Chroma series continues to be the most consistently tasty series of hoppy beers that OH produces.
