16oz can from Tavour. Pale golden, milky pour, one finger fluffy white head, rings of lacing. Light citrusy aroma, oranges, grapefruit. Taste is juicy, citrusy, bready with a nice zesty bite. So smooth and extra creamy.

Sipping this one poolside at the Air BnB in the Hamptons. Pours a nice deep brownish-orange with a huge, thick fluffy head. The head lasts for quite a while too.
Big fruit on the nose. Pineapple, grapefruit, and even kiwi. Maybe some white grape. Possibly a hint of pine somewhere in there? This one is just all about the fruit.
“Smooth” is my first thought after my initial sip. It’s fruity but not too sweet. Like a nice dry Chardonnay. And the white wine flavor is pretty strong. But also cherry and grapefruit and maybe a dash of lemon lime. But despite being so fruity, it really does manage to stay quite dry through the finish, which is long and lovely with just a little bitterness on the back end. No alcohol flavor per se but I do feel a bit of warmth after 10 sips or so.
Thick, silky mouthfeel. On the edge of how creamy I like my IPAs. Just enough carbonation to break up the creaminess.
This one is a big winner for me. The fruit flavors are all there but it stays really nice and dry and isn’t really sweet at all. There is a little bit of resin-y bitterness in there too. I’ve found that I gravitate toward Motueka-forward beers and now I know why. This hop works great even in a solo spot.

From a 16oz can, dated 05/11/21. Served in a spiegelau-style IPA glass.
Pours a pale-and-milky grapefruit juice color with two fingers of super-soft, whipped egg white-like foam. Retention is exceptional and leaves a soft, merengue-like cap and collar and a solid curtain of lacing. This beer looks so nice I can hardly keep my mouth off of it.
Nose is creamy-sweet with just a little soft lemon and pineapple. My grandmother used to make snow pudding, and that’s what the aroma sort of puts me in mind of.
Taste is the full fruit basket of tropical fruit and citrus: tasting lemon and pineapple, grapefruit, kiwi, star fruit, sweet orange, passionfruit... it just keeps giving. Juicy and dank to start, then building bitterness of the drying, aspirin-like sort.
Feel is juicy-creamy, maybe a smidge less than medium bodied but then the semi-aggressive, fizzy carbonation makes it feel even lighter than that. A baking soda-like drying, quenching sensation at the finish. And aside from that drying action, there’s no indication of the 8.5% abv in either the taste or the feel.
OMG, this is so fucking delicious it should be illegal! I’m giving the overall score a flat-out 5 because I think this is as at least as good a NEDIPA as I’ve ever had and it’s hard to say what else I could have asked for beyond what OH has delivered. Sure as fuck, one four-pack is not going to get the job done.
