Smooth drinking NE style that delivers the juice with low bitterness. Good initial head and nice lacing. Very nice mouthfeel: like a soft cloud. Not great to my palate, but very enjoyable and easy drinking. The ABV is well hidden. Certainly superior to NE style beers offered in my area.

Bright gold haze. Nose is fruit cocktail and fresh cut grass. Taste is creamy dole whip, grapefruit, a little peach, and slight green onion. Big, plush, mouthfeel. Very little lingering bitterness.

3 months old. Can to wine glass.

L: Full and hazy yellow with a pillowy, long-lasting head that leaves plenty of lacing. No floaters.

S: Tangerine, ripe grapefruit and mango mixed with strawberry and banana. Even a bit grassy and slightly piney.

T: Candied citrus fruits, mango, strawberry and white grapes. Medium high sweetness with some bitter hints and a minimal zestiness. A bit grassy.

F: Full, smooth and silky, almost creamy. Low carbonation.

O: Fantastic stuff that aged just beautifully. Feels more like Fidens, even though it was brewed by Other Half. Perfect looks, perfect feel. Incredibly complex, yet so smoothly drinkable.

Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, and hint of orange citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a super-soft, slightly malty, earthy-hoppy bitter finish. I wish the individual characteristics from each hop was more pronounced...and, that the galaxy influence was dialed back just a touch. The mouthfeel on this is fantastic! This is really good!

Solid looking hazy, with excellent head production and retention. Some particulate visible out of suspension during the pour. Completely opaque.

Extremely bright aroma, from citrus and pine to kitchen herbs; very green, quite dank.

A touch sweeter on the palate, due no doubt to the high ABV and corresponding malt base. A bit smoky and meaty, which is an unpleasant surprise. Flavor profile otherwise matches the nose, with a balanced hop profile of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine.

Super smooth mouthfeel; really impressive, and nails the New England style.

A really nice IPA, but that smokiness comes out of nowhere, and I don't think it improves the beer. I have absolutely no idea why it would come across as meaty or smoky, but it definitely does. Everything else is not only solid, but excellent.

On tap at Other Half Finger Lakes in Bloomfield, NY.

This one pours a very hazy and soupy looking bright orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like mango creamsicle, orange, weed, grapefruit, and guava.

This really is quite good, as these sorts of things go. It's super soft, with a light and clean bitterness, with loads of tropical fruit, stone fruit, grapefruit, etc, you know the story.

This is medium bodied, super creamy, and rich, with a great drinkability.

This is definitely one of the better IPAs I've had in a bit. It was truly enjoyable.
